GenM Software was founded by Jennifer K. Mellen on a simple idea: the most powerful capabilities on a Windows PC shouldn’t be locked away behind enterprise tooling or scattered across a dozen half-finished utilities. Our applications expose the deep, low-level abilities Windows actually provides — and wrap them in a clean, modern, approachable interface. Every product is designed to be genuinely more capable than the built-in Windows equivalent, while still being something a curious non-expert can pick up and use.

DeepTask — our flagship

Our first release is DeepTask, an advanced process and system monitor — a far more detailed alternative to Task Manager. It surfaces everything a process touches (CPU, GPU, NPU, memory, disk, network, registry, threads, handles, modules and tokens), lets you take full control, and helps you hunt malware with built-in threat intelligence, activity recording, and AI research. It’s a preview of everything GenM stands for: serious, native tools that respect the user.
